Hear what people are saying about Grapplersgym.com

Mike,

Thanks so much getting back with me.  I just wanted to let you know how happy I am with all the information I gotten from reading the Grapple's Guide to Sports Nutrition that book has been the start of getting my whole family into shape. I'm 46 and have never been in better shape. Thanks  so much.

Johanna

Mike,

GrapplersGym is the most innovative site dedicated to wrestling. Most grappling websites have Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA grappling as their centerpieces, but GrapplersGym is dedicated solely to pure wrestling.     Don't get me wrong, because I love BJJ and MMA, but websites dedicated to those forms of grappling are available at a dime a dozen. Thanks and keep up the good work.       --- Curt

hey, just wanted to say that the newsletter #36 was really good.  i had a good time reading that.  the weight loss secrets, the HIIT, the info on the upcoming footage, and the preparing for the off-season articles were very informative.  keep up the good work.

Mike,

Awesome newsletter...Wish there were more people out there who gave out information as freely as you do...Dave

Mike, great workouts you had in the latest newsletter. The swimming was a real killer...Where do you come up with this stuff? I searched all over and cant ever find workouts as good as the ones you post at your site. Thanks again for everything --Rob

"Prior to training with grappler's gym, I was like most grapplers when it came to conditioning. I trained like a bodybuilder/powerlifter. In fact I had competed in some local power lifting contests and won. I knew this training, however, was not beneficial to success as a grappler. Yes, I was stronger than many of my opponents and yes I was able to overwhelm many of them with my strength. Well, that was at least for the first 3 matches. After the third match, however, my muscles were taxed and I was severely winded. Friends of mine suggested that I begin doing some outside cardio in the form of sprints at a track and interval training on an elliptical training. That kind of training did begin to improve my wind a bit, but it was still not the result I was looking for. Then it happened.

I was perusing the internet for some much needed training assistance when I discovered grappler's gym. I signed up for the online training and have not regretted it since.
I must admit the idea of abandoning conventional training and using sandbags and high rep dumbbell circuits seemed like very alien at first. It was almost downright scary. Boy, was I wrong. Within the first two weeks my endurance and mat power almost doubled. The intensity achieved through the training with grapplersgym.com replicates the stress your body must endure during you hardest matches. It teaches you the mental toughness and physical willpower to push your body to the next level and crush your opponent. I can't wait for this year's Pan American games."

I'd just like to say thanks for taking the time out to put out so much useful information.  for quite some time i thought i was alone with the dissappointment of conventional approaches to exercise and spun my wheels trying to gather research to find another way of staying healthy and strong.  wrestling was my first martial art and is still my favorite, but only recently has begun resurgent growth with the advent of mma events.  your site provides excellent links
(scientific wrestling) and excellent products(grapplers guide to nu.- ) I also love
the teleseminars and the sample workouts that add the other dimensions to the sport
that allow me to make it the core of my strength and health regimen. At first I was
sceptical, everyone has crap to spread but the stuff you make available is for real
and worth the time spent .  Thanks - really.
