26 June 2008 Workout
By Mike Fry
Thursday, Jun 26, 2008 05:00

Ok well its time to get back to training after 8 weeks on the IR with both a bad knee and "damaged" rotator cuff. So for the time being (at least until my MRI next week) the plan is to hit some Tabata workouts and lift.

So here is what we did today.

1/4 mile walk

1/4 mile jog

20/10 for 8 reps at 9 mph (remember at 6'2 300lbs 9 mph is a good start for day one)

1/4 mile walk

Felt great for day one. Looking to increase the reps and time as the weeks go on.

Lifting Worked calfs on the leg press machine with some calf extensions - 15 reps x 400lbs x 5 sets seated rows - reps for 12,10,8 for warmup. Then hit 5 sets of 5 with 275lbs. Great exercise for wrestlers.

Gym was packed and "@$@" heads were overtaking the gym so I left. Day one was good (the running at least).
